Создал файл robots.txt и положил его в корень сайта. Но по адресу site.ru/robots.txt отрывается совсем другой файл. Как сделать так, чтобы открывался мой файл?

Какой именно? 404?
Может прав нету?

В то время как в корне сайта лежит совсем другой, отредактированный, файл

Может дело в кэше?
Или в не ту директорию ложишь?
Какой у тебя фтп клиент?

Да нет, все нормально. файл лежит именно в корне. Кэш очишен, а все равно вместо моего robots.txt выдается какой-то системный. Как его удалить, не знаю

а корень это в public_html или www или template в свой шаблон?
